Have you been filing a self-assessment tax return due to the high-income child benefit charge? If you have been, you will no longer need to, as it can be collected through your tax code!
As long as the high-income child benefit charge was the only reason for filing a Self-Assessment Tax Return and all other income is taxed at source, you can have the charge collected through PAYE. Please follow this link.
If you are not eligible to pay it through PAYE, you will still need to file a Self-Assessment tax return to declare this income.
