Friday's Fortnightly Tax Tip
From 1st April 2025, Employers National Insurance contributions will increase from 13.8% to 15%. The Secondary Threshold (the point at which Employers NIC becomes payable) has been reduced from £9,100 to £5,000.
Don’t panic, there is some good news! The Employers NIC Allowance will be increasing from £5,000 to £10,500. This means, for eligible businesses, the first £10,500 of Employer’s NIC will not be payable.
