At Holmes Accountancy, we have been working with many types of different accounting software for many years, and in more recent years, cloud software as well as the original desktop software.
You may wonder what is “cloud software&rduo;. Simply put, it’s just the same as desktop software but it now accessible anywhere in the world where you have internet connection. You can even reconcile your records via your mobile phone and raise instant invoices to customers while still at their home!
Cloud accounting allows you to keep your records up to date and you in control of your business finances. At Holmes Accountancy we can work with you to improve your records, and enable management reports to be run by you, whenever you need them.
There are lots of different cloud products on the market, and each software has their own unique benefits. If you would like to discuss which software is best for you and your business, please contact Susan on 01908 315716 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Holmes Accountancy are certified partners with Xero, Kashflow and Quickbooks, and we also work with Sage one.
Cloud accounting packages are also charged to your business on a month by month basis, saving you a large upfront cost for new software.
Some of the benefits of cloud accounting software:
- You can access your business records anywhere you have an internet connection, and there are Apps available which means you can now use your mobile phone;
- Most cloud software now offer automatic bank feeds, meaning you no longer have to input each individual bank entry but can instead import these, or usually for a small fee, have daily transactions downloaded straight to your software;
- You won’t need to update your software as because your cloud package is online, the software provider will keep this up to date for you;
- If you’re having problems, or need the year end accounts prepared while also working on your business, you can invite your accountant, or anyone you would like to have access, to view your records, and you can both access the system simultaneously.
